I think it says a lot when I finish reading book 1 right before going to sleep and instead of going to sleep, I boot up my computer so I can buy book 2 to read on the way to work! Book 1 ended on a cliffhanger. While I hate cliffhangers, I understand why the book was broken up into two parts.Book 2 begins exactly where the first one ends. It shows us how Jack and Lexie are figuring out what their relationship is after that huge blowup between them. The waters are murky and it seems like they are walking on eggshells around each other. But somehow they slowly find their groove... or maybe just a playlist to their relationship journey in this case.
Enter the competition. Jack is really quite unhappy about the whole situation. But it is that same situation that brings them back together to try and figure out their mutual attraction to each other and where they want the relationship to go.
So of coz after two books we get a HEA and a beautiful playlist that I will go and google to find out the lyrics. I'm sure its absolutely apt.

I loved this 2 book series!

I like the way this ended but I do wish that the author told us whether or not the main characters moved in together, got in trouble with the main bosses, and if they have a baby in the future? I want them to have a baby! lol
I loved this book. It was just as good as the first one I read! I liked how all the characters reacted to each other . It makes you feel like part of a family. It has a strong storyline and a strong leading couple! I was cheering for Jack the whole way!
This is Susan Daugherty's 2nd book and I must say it is better than the first. You will definitely need to read "Groupie" first in order to get the full story. I could not put this book down! I have never read a book so fast! I could not wait to see what happened next. If you love a happy ending and a feel good book, you will love this book. "Groupie" and"Muse" are wonderful!!!

I loved this one even better than Groupie! A must read for any country music fan! So happy to see Lexie and Jack find love despite finding every reason not to be together in this roller coaster of a love story. I really enjoyed watching both characters learn so much about themselves and each other. While painful at times, I think for both, it was their amazing journey of self discovery that ultimately brought the two together. I would love to see one more book in this series to see the next chapter in these love birds lives)
I loved, loved, loved this book! Jackson and Lexi went through a lot before they could finally be together. They both had personal issues and hangups that they had to overcome before they could let the other one in. This story had lot of twists in it. When they decided that walking away would be best for the both of them I almost screamed. I'm so glad that their little competitions gave them courage to do some things they were afraid to tackle under the guise of, "If you win then..."
Just such a good story. I highly recommend the Series.
I patiently waited for this book to be released, "Groupie" totally sucked me in and I could not wait to read "Muse"!!! It was so much more than I expected! The relationship between Lexie and Jackson had me on the edge wanting more. When Travis came into the picture there was an element of surprise that really caught me off guard. The characters came to life once again in my mind and I found myself not being able to put the book down. I read it in less than two days! The author has a real talent for writing that brings the characters to life and for me, it played out in my mind like a movie. "Muse" did not disappoint, it had all of the ups, downs and elements of surprise that make for an excellent read! I would highly recommend this book!!
Reading the opening of Daugherty’s sequel made me feel like I was visiting an old friend—yet the author crafts the continuation of Lexie’s story in a way that even readers who didn’t catch GROUPIE will be drawn right in.
Lexie and Jack are on tour with his country band. She’s determined that he be her physical therapy patient and “friend” only. He’s determined that she forgive his past indiscretion and give him a second chance. That’s a tall order for Lexie, what with Jack’s bikini-clad fans screaming from the front row at his concerts, the groupies passing their phone numbers his way each night—and the radio promo’s “prize give-away” where a pretty young thing wins a date with the star.
MUSE is fun read as the heroine gets her shot at choreographing a line dance, and a dude named Travis, a young up-and-coming musician, has eyes for her, too.
But when things take a frightening turn, will Jack be there to help? Will Lexie’s wounded pride and stubborn streak let Jack’s heart back in?
